There was over 100 people who attended the event, which was held at YBF’s new Sydney CBD co-working space.
The PropTech Hub program exists to support technology and digital innovation that drives solutions for the future of the building industry and to identify potential opportunities for collaboration between Honeywell and Program participants. In other words, it will give us the opportunity to; explore the expansion of our technology platform, work with potential product and channel collaborators, and benefit from Honeywell’s global competences in the building automation space.
Honeywell’s Asia Pacific General Manager – Service, Wayne Kent and Asia Pacific General Manager – Projects, Tom Bain, opened the launch event with an overview of the collaboration between Honeywell and YBF Ventures, before Quantify’s smart home solution was introduced to the crowd.
YBF’s CEO Farley Blackman continued, speaking briefly about innovation and how YBF works with startups and businesses to drive change and solutions. Honeywell’s CTO – BMS, Kendall Paix closed off the formalities, outlining Honeywells’ approach to technology and innovation.
Then, the Hub was declared open – networking was in full swing, while Quantify exhibited a few demo products at our stand. According to Quantify’s National Sales Manager Rick Cubito, who attended the event, there was good interest from attendees in what Quantify had to offer.
Attendees were a mix of Honeywell staff, customers and consultants, YBF staff and clients, as well as staff members and customers from the four participating companies in the Hub.
